Fairmont St Andrews
Set in a stunning coastal location, the Fairmont St Andrews is one of Scotland’s largest luxury hotel and conference offerings. Approximately an hour-and-a-half from central Edinburgh, its location is perfectly-suited the luxury on offer at the hotel.
Saentys were instructed by Knight Frank and global real estate investors Kennedy Wilson to create the sales campaign for The Fairmont St Andrews hotel in Scotland. Situated in the historic town of St Andrews the infamous home of golf, the property was comprised of much more than a luxury 5* hotel.
With two award winning Championship golf courses, 5 restaurants and the 3,000 sq m of premium conferencing facilities all situated on 520 acres of heritable estate with planning permission for manor homes and luxury lodges, this was the marketing of a truly iconic luxury asset.
Having worked with the Fairmont brand on previous projects, we were well-positioned to tackle this unique, luxury hospitality asset. Before going to the market, a campaign in line with the quality of the proposition and the hotel’s breathtaking surroundings was required.
One key facet of our campaign was to reshoot all of the film and photography. We used our experience and knowledge of capturing these sprawling destination landscapes to create a visual style that holistically captured the luxury, beauty, presence and prestige of this property. The success of our work led to the sale of the hotel within three months of going to market.
