Introduction

Activating a scientific community in Geneva

Campus Biotech is a diverse, dynamic life-sciences hub in the heart of the Health Valley, which brings people, ideas, and opportunities together.

THE CHALLENGE

After more than 10 years of existence, CampusBiotech was still not widely known, even within Geneva, and lacked a clear positioning. Its rolewas not well understood, particularly in relation tothe many stakeholders on site, making it difficultto clearly define what the campus stands for. Through a series of workshops, we gatheredstakeholder input and aligned them around aclear and shared strategic direction. At the same time, there was a need to bring more life to the campus, strengthen the sense of community, and increase its visibility.

THE SOLUTION

Based on this work, we crafted a new positioning: Where Science meets Life, built on clearly defined values, a core promise, and carefully articulated pillars. This was then translated into a visual and verbal identity that reflected this ambition.

 

 

 

A VISUAL SYSTEM ROOTED IN SCIENCE

Inspired by MRI imagery and neural patterns, we developed a distinctive graphic language reflecting the campus’s focus on neuroscience, neurosurgery, and neurotechnology. We transform it into an evolutionary pattern with endless possibilities. We also created customised icons to complete the visual ecosystem.

WEBSITE

We redesigned the Campus Biotech website to reflect the new positioning and improve clarity of information. The structure was simplified to better explain the ecosystem, its stakeholders, and the activities taking place on site. Content was developed in close collaboration with stakeholders and key partners to ensure accuracy and relevance. The design brings forward the new visual identity and creates a more engaging and accessible user experience for both internal and external audiences.

ACTIVATION

We deployed an activation strategy across multiple channels, combining editorial content, social media, newsletters, and video formats to create visibility and engagement. By working closely with researchers, institutions and key stakeholders, we developed content that highlights the people behind the science and reinforces a sense of community. This approach supports both internal engagement and external reach, positioning Campus Biotech as an active and connected ecosystem.

On-site presence

The new brand was rolled out across printed materials and on-site communication tools, ensuring immediate visibility and engagement within the campus environment. From event signage to everyday touchpoints, these elements contribute to a more cohesive and recognisable experience, reinforcing the identity of Campus Biotech in a tangible way
