In early 2020, Lyon’s Confluence district welcomes Lumen, an innovative workspace from Cluster Lumière and the Cardinal Group.
Designed by architect Samuel Delmas, the development reflects the promise of an entirely new kind of workspace. Lumen brings key players from the lighting industry together in one place to promote their mix of skills.
A platform for innovation and excellence, the workspace is designed with its occupants’ needs in mind. The building can flex and shapeshift, offering 5,800 m²of modular office spaces to cater for a variety of businesses.
Saentys was called on to build an online platform as innovative and illuminating as this new venture. More than a website, we created a true experience, one that plays with darkness and light to deliver a striking and immersive journey. We interviewed experts in the lighting field to gain a deep understanding of the sector – its challenges, its future innovations – to help us embody Lumen’s quest to be the ideal R&D space for the lighting industry. Constructed around the development’s H.U.B. pillars of Human, Uses and Business, the Lumen site illustrates exactly how the project is adapted to the unique needs of its occupants.
