Finance / Office Manager (12 Month Contract – Maternity Cover)

An experienced Finance & Office Manager is needed on a twelve-month contract for maternity cover. The job is based in London at head office. 

The role involves centrally managing financial and administrative functions across four offices in three countries: UK, France and Switzerland. 

The candidate will work in close relationship with the Managing Partners at head office and the managing partners in France and Switzerland. You will participate regularly to management meetings in the UK and occasional travel abroad will be required. 

As the sole finance/office manager for the company, the candidate will need to be able to work independently, show initiative and take the challenge to work in a fast growing and rewarding agency. In return the successful candidate will benefit from a vibrant and friendly working environment. 


  • Managing office systems and functions 
  • Monitoring budgets for the three offices: UK, France, Switzerland 
  • Cash flow and forecasting 
  • Credit Control 
  • Processing Supplier invoices and authorising payments for the three offices: UK, France, and Switzerland 
  • Dealing with overseas suppliers and foreign currencies 
  • Bank reconciliations 
  • Preparing monthly accounts for review 
  • Paying and checking expenses 
  • Dealing with HMRC on VAT Matters 
  • Keeping transparent and up to date records of all financial administration 
  • Managing London office petty cash 
  • Managing office purchases


  • Strong IT skills 
  • 3 + years Bookkeeping and Office Management 
  • Accuracy and detail minded 
  • Excellent team and people communication skills 
  • Pro-active hands on and a self-starter 
  • Proven time management skills 
  • Sociable and ability to deal with all departments 
  • Working knowledge of French is a plus 
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Proficiency in Sage an advantage
